The Tours

Join us on a journey which will take you to four of New York's most beautiful and architecturally unique churches. Depending on which tour you choose, you might see St. Nicholas's Russian Orthodox Cathedral, built using funds donated by Russia's last emperor, Nicholas II, or you could see St. Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic church, whose parish has served New York's French Catholic community since the end of the 19th Century. Other tours will visit the cavernous Episcopalian neo-Byzantine St. Bartholomew's Church, endearingly called St. Bart's by New Yorkers, while on the downtown tour, we will see the historic Trinity Church, New York's first Anglican church, built on land belonging to the English crown when New York was still just a small, distant colony of the British Empire.

These are just some of the many churches we visit on our tours. Details on the six tours are below. Join us and explore this rich, though often overlooked, piece of New York's heritage!

Please be advised that our tours are a bit heavy on walking as we believe that is the best way to get to see the city. If that will be a problem, this might not be the tour for you!
